Lions Eye Institute for Transplant and Research

Lions Eye Institute Website

Through the devotion of Lions Club members, the Lions Eye Institute for Transplant & Research was founded as an eye bank dedicated to the evaluation and distribution of eye tissue for transplantation. Over the past 30-plus years, our commitment has remained the same — an unwavering dedication to clinical excellence and a passion for providing care and service delivered with compassion and respect.  Since then, we have created a model unlike anything ever realized before; we are the first and only combined eye bank and ocular research center in the world — empowering researchers to conduct real-time studies of healthy and diseased ocular tissue leading to a greater understanding of the events that lead to blindness. As a nonprofit, we are grounded in the belief that everyone deserves the gift of sight. Through our Gratis Ocular Tissue Program, we restore sight to individuals who cannot afford sight-saving surgery. Proceeds from our annual Eye Ball gala fund this important program. This past year, we have helped patients from Florida, Honduras, Pakistan, Paraguay, and Mexico.

Medtech Forensics

Medtech Forensics Website

Medtech Forensics is a woman-owned, family business located in Tallahassee, Florida. Incorporated in 2002, we have steadily grown and enjoy working with folks across the country.

In addition to all the standard forensic supplies used for latent prints, scene supplies, evidence collection, photography, protective apparel, and alternate light sources, we also provide a full line of products for crash reconstructions, fire investigators, medical examiners, and coroners.

We appreciate that each customer is unique and, over the years, we’ve worked with our customers to create and develop a wide variety of custom kits for college classes, agencies, and specialized camps.

Stop Rubbernecking

Stop Rubbernecking Website

Carl & Tommie Cannova created a way to combat what they say is one of the most dangerous causes of accidents: rubbernecking. Over the past several years, the Cannovas developed a product originally designed for emergency responders to provide privacy, security and safety after an accident, crime or emergency. Now, SRN, Inc. systems are customizable to fit the needs of the tactical industry for use as portable training houses, HAZMAT/DECON stations, VIP privacy walkways for government officials and the entertainment industry, triage stations for hospitals, airlines, and railroad companies, and multiple other applications for both commercial and residential use. If there is a need, the system can be customized to fit it.
